Description
A little goldfish that floats. The fish hangs on transparent line inside a wired mint frame, so it drifts and turns as the car moves or a window is open — that illusion is the whole point of the piece, and it takes about an hour to build.
The frame is a narrow crocheted tube with covered craft wire threaded through as you work, which is what lets you bend it into the rounded aquarium outline and have it hold that shape. Brown rocks and green leaves are sewn along the base, and a blue bow finishes the crossed ends at the top.
